Robert Veloz's Bio

Robert was born and raised in Southern California. He joined the YUA Staff as a field evaluator/instructor in 2013. As a 2013 Top Graduate of The Umpire School, Robert uses his knowledge and expertise to mold the talents of umpires in both YUA and in our outreach trainings. Robert retired from Minor League Baseball 2014. He is currently attending San Jose State University, receiving his Masters in Engineering. Robert spends his spring and fall seasons traveling for YUA as a Field Evaluator/Instructor. He is happy to be continuing with YUA for a third season in 2015!
